How I made a career in conservation biology

My desire to work towards saving and conserving wildlife started when I was 10 years old. I knew I did not want to be a vet; I wanted to be outside, surrounded by nature! And although this might have seemed a bit ambitious at that time, I decided I was going to save the world! Eventually, I narrowed my focus on to one group of species, the gibbons in South-East (SE) Asia. And this was only the beginning!
