In the first part of this interview series, Dr. Hammersley shares the basic features of Overleaf, a cloud-based collaborative writing and publishing platform that support multiple formats and integrates the journal publication workflow.
This second segment in the series of four video snippets covers Overleaf as a platform that enables collaboration across all stakeholders in publishing, from authors and supervisors to peer reviewers and journal editors. Overleaf also supports auto correction in LaTeX, content in multiple languages, and creation of journal publishing templates. The typesetting features of Overleaf allow authors to see what the typeset version will look like. In addition to including templates of partner journals Overleaf allows users to upload templates of their choice, making Overleaf a community-based model.
