I am currently using Editage for my manuscripts preparation/submission (platinum pack). There are three manuscripts undergo the platinum-pack steps now. The issue that i have is: some of the procedures are similar in those three manuscripts. Maybe to be more descriptive , i can put it this way. I have 4 procedures each of the manuscripts ( let say Procedure 1-Procedure 4). So the way they are similar is like this :
(1) Manuscript 1 = Procedure 1- Procedure 4
(2) Manuscript 2= Similar Procedure 1, Procedure 2, but different end point which is Procedure 3 and Procedure 4.
(3) Manuscript 3= Similar in Procedure 1 but different in Procedure 2- Procedure 4.
Since they are all under works in Editage now ( Manuscript 1 - premium editing, Manuscript 2-Journal Selection Report, Manuscript 3 - Technical Review), i am suspecting all the manuscript will be ready for submission not so much different in time. Maybe my manuscript 1 havent successfully published but Manuscript 2 and Manuscript 3 are already ready for submission. How do i deal with this situation ? Should i wait for Manuscript 1 to be successfully published first, so i can cite the similar procedure in Manuscript 2 and Manuscript 3?
Or is this is actually a non-issue which i think kind of very unlikely. This is my first time publishing. The reason this is happening is because, my manuscript one which was ready like one year ago, faced rejection from multiple journals ( due to the reason not under the journal coverage- even some of them did the peer-reviewed already, which means it did tooks months before i knew the results, multiple times). Which is why i turned to Editage for helps. So in the mean time while waiting, i continued my researches thus came with idea for manuscript 2 and 3. Please, kindly advise.
